An activist for civil rights from Dehgolan named Shadi Amiri was called to court in this city, where she spent several hours being questioned and put on trial before being released on bail. Then, Ali Fathi, Shadi's husband, was arrested.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, Shadi Amiri, one of the Kurdish civil activists of Dehgolan city, who had previously referred to the judiciary through a phone call, was interrogated for several hours. The accusation was attributed to her, and finally, she was temporarily released with a bail of 400 million tomans (about 10,000 USD).
According to an informed source, 35-year-old Ali Fathi, who went to court to follow up on his wife's case, was kidnapped by the forces of Iranian intelligence and taken to an unknown location.
So far, there is no accurate information about the fate and whereabouts of Ali Fathi.
