Naser Mostafaeh arrested by Intelligence Forces in Sanandaj

As the wave of arrests targeting Kurdish people continues in the wake of the Iran–Israel ceasefire, Naseh Mostafaei, a resident of Sanandaj (Sine), has been arrested by the Intelligence Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transferred to an undisclosed location.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, Mostafaei—originally from the village of Naji, near Sanandaj—was detained after being summoned to the Intelligence Office in the city. He was arrested upon arrival and has since been held incommunicado.
Sources familiar with the case reported that on Saturday, June 28, Intelligence Forces raided Mostafaei’s home in an attempt to arrest him. As he was not present at the time, he was summoned by phone the following day and subsequently detained.
No official information has been provided regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, his place of detention, or his current condition.
