Rafiq Salimi, a citizen of Sanandaj, was transferred from the detention center of the Intelligence Department to Sanandaj Central Prison after 55 days of detention.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, Rafiq Salimi was transferred from the detention center of the Sanandaj Intelligence Department to the central prison of this city.
This citizen, who was denied access to a lawyer and meetings with his family during his detention, was also subjected to torture.
Rafiq Salimi was abducted by Iranian government forces along with his son, Fuad Salimi, on Monday, November 28, 2022.
Fuad Salimi was temporarily released on Sunday, January 8, after spending a period of detention and interrogation.
