Abdullah Hamzeh, a resident of Sardasht, has a severe health situation. His hands are presently chained to the bed in the Khomeini hospital in Urmia after he was shot last week during a violent attack by government forces, and the authorities are preventing him from getting surgery.
The Hengaw Organization for Human Rights has received a report stating that 35-year-old Abdullah Hamzeh is in severe condition after being shot in the abdomen by government forces. Four days have passed since the wound, and no surgery has been performed on him.
This person, who was scheduled to have surgery on Thursday, January 26, following the doctors' decision, is still unsure, according to knowledgeable sources from Khomeini Hospital in Urmia, and the security institutions have prevented the operation. Abdullah Hamzeh's hands are chained to the hospital bed in Urmia by government agents.
Also, Mohammad Hamzeh, the brother of this citizen, in addition to being injured in the hand due to the government forces' bullets, suffered fractures in two parts of his body.
Azad Hamzeh, another member of Abdullah Hamzeh's family, was shot in the thigh and severely injured due to the broken glass on the floor of the house by government forces.
At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, government forces attacked the house of Azad Hamzeh, the brother of Hemin Hamzeh. When his brothers Muhammad and Abdullah Hamzeh arrived at the house of this citizen after it had been forcibly entered, government agents opened fire. Two bullets struck Abdullah Hamza's knee as a result of this shooting, while one bullet struck Mohammad Hamza's hand.

Hemin Hamzeh, 30 years old and from Sardasht, was shot by the Iranian forces of the border regiment on Friday, November 11, 2022, and died after being transferred to the Sardasht medical center.
