Kamran Asa, the brother of Kianush Asa, was abducted by Iranian government forces

Kamaran Asa, a teacher from Kermanshah (Kermashan) and the brother of Kianush Asa, who was killed in 2009, was abducted by government forces.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Kamaran Asa was abducted by Iranian government forces in Kermanshah at noon on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in the Golestan Passage in this city.

The cell phones of Mr. Asa's wife and the employees who were working for him were taken by the eight security officers who entered Golestan Passage.

So far, no exact information has been made available about Kamaran Asa's fate after being abducted by Iranian government forces.

He is the brother of Kianush Asa, a student of the Iran University of Science and Technology and an environmental activist who was killed by government forces during the June 2009 protests in Tehran.
