A tradesman from Sardasht named Yaaghub Abbasi was shot and killed by Iranian authorities in a border area near Baneh.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, a 42-year-old tradesman from the village of "Kolsa Aliya" in Sardasht called Yaaghub Abbasi was shot and killed by Iranian armed forces at the border near Baneh.
According to an informed source, Yaaghub Abbasi was shot in his kidney and severely injured by authorities while illegally crossing a vehicle at the "Alut" border in Baneh. He was later transferred to a hospital in Urmia, where he passed away due to excessive bleeding from his wounds.
It is worth mentioning that this tradesman was married and had one child.
