After several court trials at the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Urmia, Wefa Rasouli-Azar was transferred to Naghadeh prison. During interrogation at the detention center of the Iranian Intelligence in Urmia, he was subjected to severe pressure and torture to conduct forced confessions.
