Kamal Lotfi, the father of Reza Lotfi, one of the victims of the uprisings in the city of Dehgolan (Dewlan), who was arrested last week by Iranian authorities, has been transferred to Kamyaran prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Kamal Lotfi, a detained citizen from Dehgolan and a member of the families of the martyrs of the resistance in the city of Dehgolan, has recently been transferred to Kamyiaran prison.
Mr. Lotfi was arrested by government forces on Monday, April 17, 2023, in public on the streets of Dehgolan without any judicial warrant.
Hengaw had previously reported that Kamal Lotfi had been under pressure from government agencies for several months, ever since the death of his son.
It is worth mentioning that in response to the government's allegations that his son had been killed by Kurdish opposition forces, in a video published by Mr. Lotfi, he denied such claims and stated that his son had been killed by Iranian armed forces in Dehgolan.
Reza Lotfi, 19, from Dehgolan, was killed by direct gunfire from government armed forces during the protests in this city on the evening of September 19, 2022.
