In the latest organized chemical attacks on schools in Iran and Kurdistan, at least 7 schools were targeted in the cities of Chabahar, Saqqez, Sanandaj, Bukan, Mashhad, and Gorgan, and several students were transferred to medical centers with symptoms of poisoning and nausea.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, a chemical attack was carried out on the Taghizadeh girls' primary school and Reyhane girls' high school in the Kamb area of Chabahar city.
Following these attacks, several students of these two schools with symptoms of severe poisoning were transferred to "Imam Ali" hospital in Chabahar by two ambulances.
As a result of these attacks, Asma Girls' High School in the Farhangian quarter of Bukan City was targeted by chemical gasses and several students were poisoned. During this attack, the school management blocked the exit door to the students.
Also, Esteghlal 2 Girls' Primary School in Saqqez was targeted by chemical gasses and several students were taken to medical centers.
The girls' school in the separate urban area of Salavat Abad in Sanandaj was the target of another organized chemical attack that was registered today, during which several students were poisoned.
At the same time, Shahrd Boys High School in Gorgan was also targeted by chemical gasses, and several students were taken to the hospital with symptoms of poisoning and coughing.
On this day, a chemical attack was carried out on Mehdizadenia girls' high school in the Qasim Abad district of Mashhad and this attack also resulted in the poisoning of several students.
