A young woman named Donya Rezaei was murdered in DarDerafesh Khanumabad village of Kermanshah by one of her relatives under the pretexts of "honor".
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, April 16, 2023, 19-year-old Donya Rezaei was killed in her family home located in the village of DarDerafsh Khanumabad, in the central district of Kermanshah.
Hengaw has been informed that this young woman was killed by being suffocated.
According to informed sources, the motive behind the murder of this young woman, which was committed by one of her relatives, was "having a relationship with a boy".
So far, no person has been arrested by Iranian government institutions in connection with the murder of Donya Rezaei.
It is worth noting that the body of Donya Rezaei was buried on Sunday, April 28, on Sarab Nilufar Road, DarDerafesh KhanumAbad village in Kermanshah.
