Two Kolbers were seriously injured in the border area of the Nowsud district of Kermanshah province by direct fire from the Iranian border regiment. The name of one of these Kolbers is Gholam Mahmoudian, and the identity of the other Kolber has not been confirmed.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, May 1, 2023, Gholam Mahmoudian from Salas-Babajani City was wounded by direct fire from the Iranian border regiment troops stationed at the Kalebar-Nowsud border.
This Kolber was transferred to Quds Hospital in Paveh city after being shot and his health condition is reported to be critical.
Along with Gholam Mahmoudian, another soldiernKber from the village of "Dashe" in Paveh County was also injured by direct fire from these forces. The identity of this Kolber has not been confirmed yet.
Based on the statistics registered in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw, from May 1, 2022, to May 1, 2023, at least 40 Kolber and Local Tradesmen were killed and 167 laborers were injured on the borders of Kurdistan, more than 65% of these cases were by direct fire of the Iranian government forces.
