Seyyed Tareq Hosseini, a Kurdish religious student from Javanroud, who was previously arrested by the Iranian government forces has been sentenced to three years in prison by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Seyed Tariq Hosseini, a Kurdish religious activist and student from Javanroud, was recently sentenced to 3 years in prison by the 4th branch of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Kermanshah on the charge of propaganda against the regime and collaborating with groups opposed to the regime.
 

Hengaw has been informed that after Seyyed Tareq Hosseini protested against the verdict, his case was referred to Branch 14 of the Provincial Court of Appeal.
 

Seyyed Tareq Hosseini was abducted from his home in the city of Javanroud on Sunday, January 29, 2023, and was under interrogation in the detention center of this institution in Kermanshah for some time.
 

Seyyed Tareq Hosseini has been deprived of the right to access a lawyer and other basic rights during the entire period of his detention.
