Naser Fagheh-Eissa, a Kurdish paramedic of the Red Crescent from Mahabad, was arrested during the recent protests (Jin, Jîyan, Azadî Movement), and has been sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison by the Iranian criminal court in Mahabad.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, recently Naser Fagheh-Eissa a paramedic from Mahabad, was sentenced to 7 years and 6 months in prison by Branch 101 of the criminal court in Mahabad, headed by Judge Sajjad Dehghanzadeh. This verdict has been officially delivered to him in Mahabad Prison.
According to an informed source, two years of this sentence are for the charges of "possession of a bullet" two years for the charges of "possession of a pellet for pellet gun" and another two years for the charge of "treating the wounded protesters in the city of Mahabad," and 18 months for the charges of "disrupting public order."
Based on the sentence issued by the criminal court in Mahabad, following the law of cumulative sentences, Naser Fagheh-Eissa will be subjected to a 2-year imprisonment term.
Furthermore, this Paramedic will also attend a trial session in Branch 1 of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Court in Mahabad soon, regarding charges related to another case.
Naser Fagheh-Eissa, a resident of Mahabad, was arrested by the Iranian intelligence forces at around 4:00 AM on Monday, October 30, 2022, and after completing the interrogations, he was transferred to the central prison of Mahabad.
