A resident of Sanandaj was arrested by government forces

Mukhtar Menabari, a citizen of Nyar village in Sanandaj, was taken to an unknown place after being arrested by government forces.
 

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Mukhtar Menabari, 32 years old and from the village of "Nyar" in Sanandaj city, was arrested by the government forces at the entrance checkpoint of Sanandaj.
 

As of this writing, detailed information about the reasons for the arrest and charges against Mukhtar Menabari is not available, and his family's efforts to find out about his fate and costudial status have been fruitless.

During the past week, at least three citizens from Nyar village have been forcibly disappeared by government authorities.
