In the ongoing persistent severe punishments imposed by the Iranian government on the individuals involved in the recent nationwide “women, Life, Freedom” movement, Hemin Ahmadzadeh has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
 

According te the information obtained by the Hengaw organization for human rights, Hemin Ahmadzadeh from Mahabad has been convicted of multiple charges including “membership in the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan, threatening national security and possession of illegal weapons” and subsequently sentenced to 18 years imprisonment by the revolutionary court of Mahabad.
 

Information from a reliable source indicates that during the period of detention, Hemin Ahmadzadeh was denied access to legal representation and rights to visit, while also being subjected to torture and continuous psychological pressure at the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center.
 

It is important to note that Hemin Ahmadzadeh married and father one child, Since the passing of his father, has taken on the responsibility of caring for his mother and sisters as the head of the household.
 

Hemin Ahmadzadeh was arrested by intelligence forces during the nationwide protests in the city of Mahabad on Thursday, November 17th, 2022, and subsequently transferred to the Urmia Intelligence Detention Center. He is currently incarcerated at Mahabad Central Prison.
