Hengaw organization for Human Rights, unequivocally denounces the escalating internal armed conflict involving members of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan and the Komala Party of Kurdistan. The organization urgently appeals for an immediate cessation of all acts of violence and military confrontation, while emphasizing the imperative for both parties to pursue negotiations as a means of resolving their military disputes.
The existence of differences and ideological conflicts within political parties is an inherent phenomenon that necessitates addressing through democratic principles, the acceptance of divergent viewpoints, and the establishment of effective party mechanisms. The utilization of weapons against political opponents represents a grave violation of fundamental human rights.
In light of these circumstances, Hengaw, as an independent human rights organization, urges both parties to promptly cease all military confrontations and establish an expeditious framework dedicated to negotiation and conflict resolution. Moreover, Hengaw declares its preparedness, facilitated by its legal department, to mediate and engage in negotiations aimed at achieving a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflicts.
