A poet and songwriter of Gilak descent, has been detained

Amir Akhavan, recognized for his artistic contributions in the realms of poetry, songwriting, and literary activism, has been apprehended by Iranian government forces in Rasht. 
And Subsequently, he has been transferred to an undisclosed location.
 

In accordance with a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Friday, June 23, 2023, Amir Akhavan, a notable poet hailing from Rasht, was arrested by government forces.
 

According to a source with inside knowledge, Mr. Akhavan's detainment can be attributed to his involvement in clubhouses discussions and his composition of a poem characterized as "revolutionary."
