Stayesh Amiri, a seventeen-year-old student from Laristan has been arbitrary detained over fourth month  for opposing against chemical attacks on fellow students and kept in complete uncertainty in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

According to information received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, Stayesh Amiri, a seventeen-year-old resident of Laristan, has spent  the past 105 days in a complete uncertainty in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

Hengaw previously reported on the extensive psychological and physical pressure exerted on Stayesh Amiri, aimed at coercing confessions and acceptance of fabricated narratives by intelligence agencies, including alleged "contaction with foreign media" and involvement in "poisoning students."

Notably, segments of forced confessions made by Stayesh Amiri and other students, Stayesh Darugheh sixteen-year-old, eighteen-year-old Erfaneh Honar, Alireza Bagheri, and Ibrahim Amiri (the father of Stayesh Amiri), were broadcasted on a program aired by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting. These confessions were based on selectively edited and fabricated videos and vague information.

The aforementioned individuals were apprehended by government forces in mid-February 2023 and subsequently transferred to Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.

Recent information indicates that Erfaneh Honar, Stayesh Darugheh, and Alireza Bagheri have been released from custody. Ibrahim Amiri has been recently relocated to Evaz Prison. However, Stayesh Amiri remains detained in Adelabad Prison in Shiraz.
