The execution of the death sentence imposed on Hossein Ali Zarwani, an incarcerated individual from Kuhdasht city in Lorestan, on grounds of deliberate homicide, has been executed in Ilam Prison.
According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, during the early hours of Wednesday, July 12, 2023, the death penalty of Hossein Ali Zarwani, from the village "Poshtbagh Zarwani" in close proximity to Kuhdasht city and resided in Kuhdasht, was implemented in the Ilam Central Prison.
Hossein Ali Zarwani, formerly employed as a bank staff member, was apprehended around two years ago on charges related to premeditated murder, subsequently receiving a death sentence from the judicial authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
