Mansour Shireband, a Kurdish youth from the city of Sarableh, the center of Chardoval County, and one of the detainees of the Jin, Jiyan, Azadi (Woman, Life, Freedom) movement, has been sentenced to two years and six months in prison by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, a 30-year-old Mansour Shireband from Sarableh, was recently sentenced by the 2nd branch of the Ilam Revolutionary Court. He received two years for the charges of "gathering and collusion against the government through the leadership of rallies" and additional six months for "publishing a call to hold a protest rally."
It is worthy noting that Mansour Shireband, a married accounting expert, has been arrested on multiple occasions. His first arrest took place on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, during the public protests in Sarableh by the IRGC intelligence forces.
Afterward, Mansour Shireband was temporarily released by IRGC intelligence forces until the end of the proceedings.
