Reza Nabavi Chashemi, a resident of Semnan, Peyman Ebrahimi, a Turkish resident from Tabriz, and a Baluch individual from Sib and Suran were detained by the government forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to a report received by the Hangaw organization for Human Rights, on Thursday August 24th, 2023, Reza Nabavi Chashemi, a resident of Semnan, was detained on his way to his home village of his residence.
Reza Nabavi Chashemi had previously been detained by government forces and sentenced to imprisonment by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Furthermore, on Saturday, August 19th, 2023, Abdul Basit Perki, a 24 years old Baluch individual from the village of "Koor Nahoot" in Sib and Soran of Sistan and Baluchestan province was also detained. According to reports from Baluch activists campaign, he was detained by intelligence forces, transferred to Zahedan, and subjected to assault and torture to extract forced confessions.
Recently, Peyman Ebrahimi, a resident of Tabriz, was also detained at his father's house in the Tabriz by security forces and transferred to an undisclosed location. He is known to be an Azerbaijani dance instructor in Tabriz.
As of the time of this reporting, the precise details regarding the charges against these three individuals or the conditions of their detention and their whereabouts remains undisclosed.
