Hamidreza Gharibi, a citizen from Saveh, and two citizens living in Tehran, Amir hossein Bilali and Afshin Naziri, were arrested by Iranian government forces over the past week.

 

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, 29th of August 2023, Amir Hossein Bilali, a former student activist, and Afshin Naziri, both Turkish citizens residing in Tehran, were arrested during a raid by Iranian government forces at their residence.
 

Rrliable sources indicated that Iranian government forces searched the home of Amir Hossein Bilali, a former student activist and former member of the political office of the Islamic Polytechnic Association, and confiscated his personal belongings.
 

Additionally, during the past week, Hamidreza Gharibi, a resident from Saveh, was arrested by the government forces after reportedly "protesting the continuous power outages".
 

Afshin Naziri was transferred to Tehran's Evin prison and he has been denied the right to receive visitors.
 

No information concerning the whereabouts and conditions of Hamidreza Gharibi and Amir hossein Bilali has been disclosed.
