Hamed Bagheri, a Kurdish youth from Eslamabad-e Gharb (Shabad), issued an invitation to the public to participate in a protest rally within one of the streets of Golshahr Karaj. Unfortunately, he became involved in a confrontation with government forces, leading to his tragic demise due to direct gunfire from these forces. As a result, government institutions have taken custody of his body.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, Hamed Bagheri, a resident of the village "Tajar-e-Akbar" in Eslamabad-e Gharb, Kermanshah (Kermashan), was targeted by Iranian government forces. This incident occurred after he had encouraged people to participate in a protest. Tragically, while defending himself in Golshahr Karaj, he succumbed to fatal gunfire from these repressive government forces. This young man suffered four gunshot wounds.
According to sources close to Hamed Bagheri's family, this young man had shouted slogans against the dictatorship of the Islamic Republic of Iran and invited the people of Golshahr Karaj to hold a protest rally before the government forces' attack.
This source added that Hamed Bagheri's family, upon learning about the death of their young son, went to Karaj. However, they have not been able to see their child's body, as government institutions refuse to hand over the kidnapped body.
In this regard, following this governmental murder, on the eve of the anniversary of the government forces' killing of Jina Amini and the commencement of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement, the media outlets of the Islamic Republic have systematically disseminated news containing misleading and erroneous information.
