Violent Arrest of Baloch Minor by Iranian Security Forces in Zahedan

An adolescent Baloch named Yasin Rigi was detained brutally by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Zahedan.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, October 15, 2023, Yasin Rigi, a 15-year-old resident of Zahedan, Sistan- Balouchistan province, was apprehended.

As per information from the Baloch Activists Campaign, this child was detained in the Zahedan Old Road neighborhood and subsequently relocated to an undisclosed location.

At the time of reporting this news, precise information regarding the grounds for Yasin Rigi's arrest and the charges brought against him remains undisclosed. So far, the efforts of his family to gain insights into his situation have proved futile.
