During the recent protests in Sistan-Baluchistan, a significant number of individuals were apprehended. As of now, the identities of 24 of them, which include five children and teenagers under the age of 18, have been confirmed.

According to a report from the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, October 20, 2023, twenty-four Baloch protesters, among them five children and teenagers, namely Mohammad Amin Mohammad Zahi (14 years old), Yaser Alizahi (17 years old), Bilal Rakhshani (15 years old), Yasin Issa Zahirigi (17 years old), and Mohammad Avis Naroi (16 years old), were arrested in Zahedan.

The Haalvsh News Agency reported that the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran transported the detainees in several buses that had been prepared beforehand to an undisclosed location.

Simultaneously, the internet connection was cut off. NetBlocks, an organization that monitors internet access limitations worldwide, reported a systematic disruption of telecommunications in Sistan and Baluchistan, highlighting a severe disruption of internet connectivity in Zahedan.

Before their arrest, several of these detainees in Zahedan endured severe assaults and violence, raising serious concerns about their health conditions within the security institutions' detention centers.

Additionally, at least 19 adult individuals were arrested in Zahedan, and their names are as follows: Hedayatullah Qanbarzahi, a religious activist and a teacher at Makki Mosque in Zahedan; Yaser Baloch; Mohammad Rakhshani; Amer Shirouzahi; Aminullah Alizahi (24 years old); Abdul Malik Kamal Khanzahi (27 years old); Krich Shahnavazi (30 years old); Amin Mingal Brahui; Abdullah Bilorani (42 years old); Ahmad Kebdani; Arslan Rakhshani; Arian Noti Zahi; Saeed Kebdani; Erfan Shahouzahi; Ehsan Karamzahi; Abdul Rauf Jamalzahi (23 years old); Khodiar Gangozahi (30 years old); Sedis Gomshadzahi (19 years old); and Saleh Rigi (32 years old).
