Shahram Amini, a 17 years old resident of Saqqez, was severely injured while border porting as a result of a landmine explosion, causing significant damage to his lower legs and posing a serious risk of limb amputation.

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, Shahram Amini, a 17 years old from Saqqez, was injured due to a landmine explosion near the "Hangazhall" border in Baneh. His life is currently at serious risk due to the potential amputation of his limbs.

As informed by a reliable source, Shahram Amini has been transferred to a hospital in Tabriz for urgent medical treatment and has undergone surgical procedures. However, due to the severity and depth of his injuries, the success of the surgery to save the young man's legs is uncertain, and the risk of amputation remains a serious concern.
