Mansour Soleimani, a 36-year-old Kolbar from Salas-e Babajani, Kermanshah province, suffered severe injuries in a landmine explosion at the borders of Nowsud city.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, Mansour Soleimani, hailing from the village of "Dangi" in Salas-e Babajani, sustained critical injuries due to a mine explosion at the border of Nowsud in Kermanshah province.
According to an informed source, the injured Kolbar was initially taken to Nowsud city's hospital after sustaining a severe leg injury. Due to the depth of the injuries and the required treatment direction, Mansour Soleimani was subsequently transferred to Paveh Hospital.
Notably, according to data registered at the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at least three Kurdish Kolbars have been injured in mine explosions at the Kurdistan borders during this fall. This incident highlights the ongoing risks and dangers faced by Kolbars in the course of their work.
