A teenager from Saqqez identified as Amanj Azarpour, 17, was seriously injured in a landmine explosion while kolbaring at the border of Baneh, and at the same time, two citizens in Ilam were killed in a landmine explosion.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, at 23:00 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, a 17-year-old boy from Saheb district of Saqqez identified as Amanj Azarpour was seriously injured due to a mine explosion on the Baneh border.
Hengaw has been informed that Amanj Azarpour was injured on the border of Hangazhal in Baneh and due to the severity of his injuries he was immediately transferred to Tehran medical centers for treatment.
On the other hand, today, Thursday, August 18, two minesweepers were seriously injured due to a landmine explosion in the Qalavizan area of Mehran city and were taken to Ilam medical centers for treatment.
