Mine Explosion in Marivan Severely Injures Kolbar

A Kolbar, identified as Payam Rezai, suffered severe injuries while transporting goods at the border of Mariwan City.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, November 4, 2023, Payam Rezai, a resident of Pileh village in the vicinity of Marivan City, had to undergo amputation due to a mine explosion.
Following the explosion in the Savji border area of Marivan, Payam Rezai was immediately transported to a medical facility for treatment.
Based on data collected by the Statistics and Documentation Center of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the last seven months, at least three Kolbars were severely injured in a mine explosion in the border areas of Kurdistan.
