The execution of the death sentence for a Baloch prisoner, identified as Ismaeil Ghader Magham (Barahoei), previously condemned to death for drug trafficking, took place in the central prison of Birjand, South Khorasan province.
According to a report received the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on the early morning of Wednesday, December 27, 2023, the death sentence for a 32 years old Baloch inmate by the name Ismaeil Ghader Magham, a resident of Zahedan and currently held in Birjand, was carried out without having allowed the final meeting with his family, in the central prison of Birjand.
According to “Halvash”, Ismaeil Ghader Magham was arrested four years ago in the Nahbandan region and later sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of Birjand for drug trafficking.
As of the time of preparing this report, the execution of this inmate has not been announced in government controlled media, particularly media closed to judiciary.
