In recent days, two 17-year-old Kurdish individuals, Metin Razian from Saqqez, Sanandaj province, and Navid Mustafazadeh from Bukan, Urmia province, were apprehended by the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and transported to undisclosed locations.

According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Matin Razian from Saqqez was detained by the Intelligence Department forces at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

On Thursday, February 27, Navid Mustafazadeh, a 17-year-old resident of Dashband village in Bukan, was arrested by the Intelligence Department forces without the presentation of any judicial documents.

A source close to Matin Razian’s family revealed that Matin was apprehended while returning from a sports club near their residence in the Salehabad neighborhood of Saqqez. The source further revealed that Matin, a student, also worked as a Kolbar in his spare time to support his family.

At the time of reporting, detailed information regarding the reasons for the arrests and charges, as well as the fate and whereabouts of these two Kurdish adolescents, remains undisclosed.
