At least 11 Kurdish Porters Killed, Injured in June

HANGAW — At least 11 Kurdish Porters (better known as Kolber in Kurdish) were killed or injured during the month of June across the Iranian Kurdistan (Rijhalat).

Based on the figures collected by the statistics department of Hangaw Organization for Human Rights, the majority of the victims were killed or injured by direct gunfire by Iranian armed forces.

Details are as follows:
Direct shootings: 2 killed and 7 injured (82%).
Natural incidents: 1 injured (9%).
Landmine explosion: 1 injured (9%).

Locations:
Western Azerbaijan Province: 6 injured.
Kurdistan Province: 2 killed and 3 injured.
