Two Kurdish Mountaineers Arrested in Iran

Hengaw — Iranian Intelligence Service arrested on Tuesday two Kurdish mountaineers in Saqiz, Kurdistan Province.

Reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights confirmed the identities of the detainees as: Hadi Mohammadzadeh, and Fayeq Yousefi.

They were reportedly accused of membership in and cooperation with Iranian Kurdish opposition parties.

Mohammadzadeh and Yousefi were both members of Hallo group for mountaineers.
