Iranian Forces Kill Kurdish Shepherd Near Khoy

HENGAW — Iranian forces on Sunday opened fire at a Kurdish shepherd in the vicinity of Khoy, Western Azarbaijan province, killing him immediately.

According to the reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the victim was attending his herd when the Iranian forces stormed the area and gunned him down.

Hengaw correspondent identified the man as “Jafar Ahmadi” from Tarsabad village.

The intention behind Iranian forces’ fire remains unclear up to this moment.
