Armed attack on Kurdish tradesmen: One dead and one injured

Hengaw: Iranian Police forces shot at a car of Kurdish tradesmen on a road in the Zanjan Province. One man got killed and another was injured.

According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Sunday morning, August 16, 2020, police forces of Zanjan Province opened fire on a car of Kurdish tradesmen near Zanjan. One of the car's passengers got killed and the other one got injured.

An informed source told the reporter of Hengaw that as a result of the shooting, a Kurdish tradesman named "Ali Ashrafyan", aged 40, got killed. Another tradesman named "Baram Basham" aged 35 was severely wounded. Baram Basham is now in a medical clinic in Zanjan. He is in a critical condition.

Both tradesmen are married and are from "Yolagldi" village near Shout, West Azarbaijan Province.
