Hengaw: A member of the Revolutionary Guards Corps was sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary on charges of cooperating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran.

According to report of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, in the past few days, the branche 32 of the Urmia Military Tribunal, issued a death sentence for a citizen from Mahabad with the identity of Arsalan Khodkam.

The verdict was imposed on him on charges of espionage and cooperation with the Democratic Party of Iran's Kurdistan.

Arsalan Khodkam is 50 years old from Mahabad, and since 1991 has been a member of the Revolutionary Guards.

He was a Peshmarga of the Democratic Party of Iran's Kurdistan , and after he had submitted himself, he was a member of the Revolutionary Guards Corps.

Arsalan Khodkam was arrested on March 2018, by the security forces of Mahabad.
