Hengaw: Two Kurdish citizens were killed by armed police forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran this winter.

Ferhad Shakari, 23 years old and a Kurdish citizen from Kermanshah, was shot dead on January 22, 2022 on the street in Kermanshah by armed Iranian police forces.
According to an informed source, Ferhad Shakari was spending the day of the incident with his friends. During a game with stones, Shakari reportedly hit a law enforcement officer's car. The officer then informed the police and demanded that Shakari be arrested. Upon arrival, the police forces fired at Shakari for no apparent reason, hitting him with three bullets, killing him instantly.
"Ferhad Shakari's body was buried in Merapashay Village Cemetery," the source added to Hengaw.

An identical case occurred on January 8, 2022. A Kurdish citizen named Kambiz Haydari, 40 years old, was shot dead by Iranian armed forces in the border region near the town of Qasre Shirin. An informed source told Hengaw that Iranian forces transported and left Haydari's body across the border to Kurdistan Autonomous Region to avoid responsibility for Haydari's death.
Kambiz Haydari was a father of two and a citizen of Islamabad, Kermanshah Province.

Efforts by the families of the two killed Kurdish citizens to bring those responsible to justice have so far been unsuccessful.
