 During the recent protests in the Dehgolan district of Kurdistan province (Sanandaj), at least three citizens named Amjad Bakhtiari, a teacher, Sanan Khaledian, and Omid Mohibizadeh were arrested by the security agencies.


 According to the report received by the Hengaw human rights organization, 48-year-old Amjad Bakhtiari, a teacher in Dehgolan’s Department of Education, was arrested by the Iranian security forces on the morning of October 3, 2022, and taken to an unknown place.
 

 According to an informed source, the security forces stormed the home of this teacher at 2 am without any legal document and detained him.

 

 On the other hand, on the evening of Saturday, October 1,  the security forces violently arrested  Sanan Khaledian from Dehgolan. 

Hengaw has been informed that the security forces have also confiscated the mobile phones of Sanan Khaledian, his father, and his brother.

 

 On the same day, another citizen from Dehgolan named Omid Mohibizadeh was arrested by the Iranian security forces.
 

 There is no accurate information about the fate and whereabouts of these three citizens, and the follow-up of their families in this regard has been fruitless.


 During the recent protests in Dehgolan, dozens of citizens from this city have been arrested by the Iranian security agencies, and so far the identities of 18 of them have been confirmed to Hengaw.
