Naghshin Ahmadi, known as Shler, a detained citizen from Mahabad who is currently being held in the women's ward of Urmia Central Prison, was recently sentenced by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court to three months in prison on charges of "collaborating with the Kurdistan Democratic Party of Iran." 
 
An informed source told Hengaw, "The hearing on Shler Ahmadi's charges was held electronically, and she has been deprived of access to a lawyer. 
 
Hengaw had previously reported that Naghshin Ahmadi from "Ghezelghopi" in Mahabad was arrested on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, after being summoned to the Naghadeh Intelligence Office and transferred to the detention center of this security institution in Urmia. She was transferred to Urmia Central Prison after three weeks of interrogation. 
 
A source close to Ahmadi's family told Hengaw, "One of the officials of the Naghadeh Intelligence Office called Ghasemi has severely beaten her." 
 
Naghshin Ahmadi, who has two children and suffers from cancer, was supposed to receive chemotherapy in April but has not been transferred to a medical center since she was arrested and has been deprived of access to any medication.
