Pouria Javadi, a political prisoner from Karzan district of Ilam province, was temporarily released from Ilam central prison on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, after 7 months and 10 days of detention with a heavy bail of one billion until the court session.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, after being detained for 40 days in the intelligence detention center of Ilam, Pouria Javadi was subjected to the most severe tortures and then transferred to the central prison of Ilam.
Hengaw sources have reported that Pouria Javadi has been deprived of access to a lawyer for the past 7 months and the security agencies have accused him of collaborating with the Democratic Party.
Pouria Javadi was arrested on Friday, December 17, 2021, by the intelligence forces of the Ilam Corps under the identity of Maryam Haqgoo.
