The wave of arrests in Kurdistan after general strike, the authentication of 40 people

Hengaw: Several other citizens were arrested by security forces after general strike in Kurdistan.

According to report of the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on September 13, three Citizen from Shnov (Oshnavieh) was named Khosrow Ghodrat, Saleh Pashaei and Sadegh Pashaei for trying to hold general strike, arrested by the security of this city.

Also, on the same day, a citizen from Targawar, Urmia was arrested by the security forces with the identity of Kawan Omarzada and in Sardasht, Zhiar Ghaderi was arrested by plainclothes forces and transferred to an unknown location.

Samko Sediqh of Boukan and Behnam Moradi of Diwandara were detained by security agencies on strike day.

With the follow-up of Hengaw, 19 detainees were released on bail and 21 are still in detantion.

On the other hand, civil society activists in Kurdistan have been summoned and interrogated by security agencies.
