Three Kurdish citizens from the village of ”Ney” in Marivan city were sentenced to 16 years and 6 months in prison and exile

Hengaw: The Iranian Judiciary condemned three residents of the village of ”Ney” in Marivan to prison and exile.

During the past few days, the Revolutionary Court of Marivan sentenced to 16 years and 6 months imprisonment, three Kurdish activists in the village of ”Ney” in Marivan, on charges of cooperating with the Kurdish opposition parties.

The verdicts of these 3 citizens;
Bryar Kaveh sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
Hoshyar Kasraei sentenced to 6 years and 6 months imprisonment and two years of exile to Sistan and Baluchestan Province.
Worya Faraji sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.

”Three citizens have protested the verdict issued by the court and are waiting for the appeal court”, an informed source told.

Hoshyar Kasraei and Worya Faraji were arrested on Wednesday, July, 11,2018, by the intelligence forces. Also, Bryar Kaveh was arrested in September 2018.
The three citizens were released on bail after several months of imprisonment.
