Female Kurdish Kolbar killed by Iran's border guards in Nowsud

A 26-year-old female Kurdish Kolbar, Parshang Qobad Zahiri, a mother of a three-year-old, was fatally shot by border guards of Iran.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, November 22, 2024, Parshang Qobad Zahiri, a Kolbar from Haneh-Garmaleh village in the Nowsud district of Paveh County, succumbed to injuries sustained from gunfire by border guards at a hospital in Kermanshah.
A credible source disclosed that border forces opened fire on Zahiri near the Haneh-Garmaleh border region on Tuesday, November 19. She was struck directly from behind.
Notably, Zahiri’s father, Edris Qobad Zahiri, and her brother have been arrested by security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
