Death sentence of a prisoner carried out in Yasuj Central Prison

The death sentence for a Lor prisoner named Sadeq Asadi, a resident of Gachsaran in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, previously convicted of "premeditated murder," was carried out in Yasuj Central Prison.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, early on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the execution of 40-year-old Sadeq Asadi, a resident of Gachsaran, took place in Yasuj Central Prison.
Sources told Hengaw that this prisoner had been detained five years ago on charges of "premeditated murder" of a relative and was sentenced to death by the judiciary of Islamic Republic of Iran.
