Iran executes Amin Khodri Mirqaed convicted of murder at Shushtar prison

Iranian authorities executed Amin Khodri Mirqaed, a 28-year-old Lor man, at Shushtar Central Prison. He was convicted of premeditated murder.

According to information obtained by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the execution was carried out at dawn on July 15, 2026.

Sources familiar with the case said Khodri Mirqaed was arrested about four years ago on charges of premeditated murder and was later sentenced to death under Iran’s qisas (retributive justice) laws.

Iranian state media and judicial authorities had not publicly announced the execution.
