Police kills young Kurdish barber, Soheib Ahmadi, by direct gunfire in Javanrud

A young man from Javanrud, identified as Soheib Ahmadi, was killed by officers of the Islamic Republic of Iran police in one of the city’s streets. The victim was struck by three bullets.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at 1:15 AM on Sunday, December 15, 2024, Soheib Ahmadi, a 20-year-old resident of Javanrud, was shot dead by police officers in the Babajani neighborhood of the city.
Hengaw has learned that the police officers fired at Soheib Ahmadi, who was inside his car, without any warning or prior justification.
An eyewitness told Hengaw: “One of the police officers, identified by the surname Shahveysi, fired three bullets into Soheib Ahmadi’s neck, killing him.”
Soheib Ahmadi, a barber from Javanrud, died instantly at the scene.
