Death sentence of a prisoner carried in Yasuj Prison

The death sentence of Pejman Masoudi Koushk, a Bakhtiari Lor prisoner who had previously been convicted of premeditated murder, was carried out in Yasuj Central Prison.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at dawn on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, the death sentence of 27-year-old Pejman Masoudi Koushk, a resident of Yasuj, the capital of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, was carried out in Yasuj Central Prison.

A reliable source stated that Pejman Masoudi Koushk had been arrested three years ago on charges of premeditated murder and subsequently sentenced to death by the Iranian judiciary.
