Urmia: Kurdish man, Mohammad Hosseinzadeh shot dead by Government Forces

Mohammad Hosseinzadeh, a Kurdish man from Urmia, has been killed by direct gunfire from the Islamic Republic of Iran’s security forces in the city.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Saturday, March 29, 2025, Mohammad Hosseinzadeh, a Kurdish resident of “Qeshlaq Tarzilou” village, a suburb of Urmia, was shot and killed by government forces.
According to informed sources, the security forces opened direct fire on the moving vehicle of this man without any prior warning.
These forces allegedly targeted the vehicle in the “Tarzilou” district of Urmia on suspicion of “smuggling goods,” as reported.
