The death sentence of another prisoner at Sanandaj Central Prison named Jamshid Kaimi, from Dehgolan, was executed.
According to a report received by The Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, the sentence of Jamshid Karimi, from Dehgolan and a resident of Sanandaj, who previously was condemned to death on charges of intentional murder, was executed.
It should be mentioned that he was executed despite the fact that his death sentence was canceled after obtaining the victim's family's forgiveness in exchange for 4 billion tomans, and he returned to his cell at 6:30 a.m.
One hour earlier, at 6:30, Mustafa Salehi from Dezli Rural District in the Central District of Sarvabad County, who was also condemned to death on charges of intentional murder, was executed.
On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, these two prisoners were taken to a solitary cell at Sanandaj Central Prison.
