Abduljabar Lutfi, a religious figure and imam of "Jame' Arshad" mosque in Sanandaj, was sentenced to 7 months and 15 days in prison, 74 lashes, and seizing his clergy vestments by the Special Clerics Court of Hamedan.
 

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, the Special Clerics Court of Hamedan sentenced Mamosta Abduljabar Lutfi to seven months and fifteen days imprisonment, 74 lashes, and seizing his clerics vestments on charges of "propaganda against the regime" and "misleading people's opinion".
 

It should be mentioned that for supporting people's demands and protests in December 2022, Mamosta Abduljabar Lutfi was summoned to the Special Clerics Court of Hamedan.
 

In this regard, on Sunday, May 21, 2023, Madeh Karmi, the imam of the village of "Hoye" in Sanandaj, was sentenced to one year of suspended imprisonment by the Special Clerics Court in Hamedan.
